COVID-19 Response

COVID-19 Accommodations to Ensure the Safety of Our Worshipers

Air flow

  • Our sanctuary has a high ceiling with 72 thousand cubic feet of air in the room.
  • The ventilation system for heating and AC moves air from the floor to the ceiling. Commercial thermostats run the air continuously during the day.
  • Two high volume exhaust fans near the ceiling run during our worship services.
  • Our central hallway has flow through ventilation with open windows on both sides.
  • UV sterilizers have been installed within the ventilation system.

Chairs are set up to provide physical distancing between family groups.

During the summer months, we are doing more outside.

  • Sunday morning worship is held outside once a month on the 1st Sundays of June, July, and August on our patio and grass. A large tent is set up to provide shade in addition to the tree shade.
  • Coffee is served outside – on our patio – during our fellowship time whenever weather allows.
  • We are offering once a month outdoor Sunday evening Sing and Faith-Story times in the shade.

Vaccination coverage of attendees is estimated to be at least as good as that of Olmsted County (~75%) for adults and youth ages 16 and up.

Morning worship services are livestreamed on the Salem Road Covenant YouTube Channel.

  • The entire recorded service is posted to our church YouTube page on Sunday mornings. CLICK HERE to find the recording
  • A recording of the sermon is also posted on our website later in the week – CLICK HERE to go to the sermons page
